Owner Paul Vanderheide worked for Telstra as a qualified technician from the early eighties until the late nineties. During this time his duties included, installing and maintaining residential phone services, payphones and business phone services, including Commander Systems.
Telstra sold the Commander Market to Plessey in 1998 and the company was then called Plestel, which later changed to Commander. Paul worked for Commander until 2012. During this period, he gained experience in all Commander branded systems, as well as Siemens, Avaya, Nortel and Samsung phone systems.
